North Ayrshire Schools Swimming Competition

Our team of swimmers took first place in the North Ayrshire Schools Swimming Competition.
The team of Kirsten Andrew, Kerry Andrew, Ross Hughes, Jordan Hughes, Fraser Mackie, Julie McClymont, Heather McClymont, and Demi Orr beat Garnock Academy into second place.
Jordan will go on to represent the school at the Scottish Schools' Competition in January in Glasgow.

Some of the team also had great success at the Ayrshire Schools' Gala at the Citadel, Ayr in October.
Demi Orr took gold in the 100m Free and 100m Fly, Julie McClymont lifted golds for 200m Fly and 100m Fly while sister Heather took gold in the 200m IM and 200 Free. Brothers Jordan and Ross Hughes were both successful too.
Jordan took gold in the 100m Free and 200m Free while Ross lifted gold in the 100m Fly and silver in the 200m Fly.

Well done to all our swimmers who put in huge efforts in the amount of training they do - it's certainly paying off! Congratulations to all!
