WARHAMMER CLUB

Warhammer is the fantasy world, which forms the basis of several Games Workshop table-top, roleplay, board, card and computer games. The Warhammer world has a huge variety of characters, armies: elves; dwarves; orcs; ogres and lizardmen and scenarios. Its popularity all around the world has inspired fantasy fiction authors, fan sites and Warhammer societies and clubs. A new club is starting in Ardrossan Academy. All pupils are welcome, beginners and those with experience.

Our plan is to buy, build and paint armies, make table-top boards to play on. Make storage boxes for you to keep your own paints and models in. Mr Sutton and Mr Wheeler will be helping with this. Also Mr Baird, along with some S1 pupils will compile background music for us to play when you are actually playing your games.

The club meets every Monday night from 3.30pm to 5.00pm.

Pupils have now visited the Games Workshop in Glasgow several times, this has allowed them to understand all aspects of the hobby. ÊÊÊ

Well done to those of you who have been involved with making the table-top in art, you have done an excellent job. ÊThose of you working on the paint stations have also been very successful and showed a real team spirit.
