Pupils' Information

MySQA

Get your results electronically: don't be forced
to wait for the postman!

As some pupils and parents will already know, from their experience last year, MySQA is a web-enabled service that allows candidates to access their SQA record online.

We recommend that pupils register online during the session, to receive their exam results by e-mail and/or text message.

Candidates who have registered will be sent their exam results by e-mail and/or text message between 8.00am and 9.00am on the day that the results are posted out.

Candidates who registered for the Results Online service last year will have to re-register this year.

You will need your SCN [Scottish Candidate Number] to sign up for an account. If you don't already know this number, or if you have forgotten it, it will be available in the school [on the SQA notice-board in the Main Building.] The SQA will send you an 'activation code' by post.

As well as being able to see the personal details which the SQA hold for candidates, candidates who are registered with MySQA will now be able to see their qualification information. Candidates will be able to see:

This means that candidates can track progress towards qualifications they are currently studying for, and have a permanent record online of all their SQA qualifications. MySQA is currently being promoted as a service to colleges, employers and training providers.

Certificates will be sent by post as usual.

To find out more, 'Google' MySQA, or go to www.mysqa.org.uk

If pupils experience any problems with MySQA, they should contact Mr Todd, Depute Head, at the school.
