The administration section of the school consists of four main areas, located in the old building and covered by clerical staff on a rotational basis:

MAIN OFFICE
The main office is the first point of contact for enquiries and visitors to the school and is responsible for maintaining pupil records and all general clerical and administrative duties. The office is open from 08.30 am - 4.30 pm (Monday - Thursday) and 08.30 am - 4.00 pm (Friday).
ATTENDANCE OFFICE
In this office, clerical staff assist the Pupil Welfare Officer and update registration and attendance details for all pupils.
 
REPROGRAPHICS OFFICE
This office looks after the duplicating requirements for all departments in the school.
DMR OFFICE
In this office, Mrs Weir, the Administration and Finance Officer, deals with DMR (Devolved Management of Resources) for Ardrossan Academy and the cluster primary schools which consist of Dykesmains, Stanley, West Kilbride, Winton and James Reid and James McFarlane special schools. Requisitions, invoicing and all financial transactions are made from this office.
