| Classes 1.2 and 1.5 were treated to a visit by author Maggi Gibson on Wednesday 1 June 2011. She spoke to the classes about her life, work and inspiration for her books as well as reading excerpts from her books. Pupils were able to ask questions and were thrilled when she told them that she may use some of the things they told her in future books. Mrs Lee would like to thank Mhairi Cook of North Ayrshire Libraries for organising the event as well as the pupils for their lively participation! |
