LNC - Literacy / Numeracy / Computing

2nd Year

Rotation with Maths and English - 2 periods each week for 13 weeks.

Standard Grade Computing Studies

This is available at Foundation, General and Credit levels. Pupils are set according to their ability. All S3/4 classes are in Computing for 3 periods each week.

S5 & 6

Beginners or pupils who have achieved a Foundation Standard Grade Computing Studies award should opt for PC Passport (Intermediate 1)

Pupils who have achieved a General award should opt for Intermediate 2 Information Systems.

Pupils who have achieved a Credit award should opt for Higher Computing and/or Higher Information Systems.

Pupils who achieve a grade A or a grade B in Higher Computing can opt for Advanced Higher Computing.

All S5/6 pupils are in Computing for 6 periods each week.
