SI Science incorporates
all 3 sciences (Chemistry, Biology and Physics).
S2 Chemistry is in rotation with Physics and Biology. Pupils study
Chemistry for 3 periods each week of the rotation.
S3 and S4 Chemistry is offered at 3 LEVELS: STANDARD GRADE,
INTERMEDIATE 1 and ACCESS 3
All S3/4 classes are in
Chemistry for 3 periods each week.
S5 andS6 Chemistry is offered at HIGHER and INTERMEDIATE 2 level,
with students studying the subject in class for 6 periods each week.
S6 Advanced
Higher Chemistry is
taught in class 4 periods each week. Pupils are also expected to use
some none teaching periods to make use of the Scholar programme and
to do research for Investigations.
