I taught the SYS (Sixth Year Studies) Chemistry class, every year, from the time I started teaching in 1972 until I left in 2005. When I became Principal Teacher in session 1985-86 it became a tradition to photograph the class and display the photo in the department.

The photos are still displayed on the corridor walls.

Where are they now ?

Grant Webb studied Computer Science at the University of Strathclyde.

Kathryn Girling studied Chemistry at the University of Glasgow.

Elizabeth McGillivray is now teaching in the Chemistry Department at Ardrossan Academy.
